Carmen Rafanell

Carmen Rafanell is a post-doctoral fellow at Aix-Marseille University, assigned to UMR IRD 151 LPED (Laboratoire Population - Environnement - Développement) and UR 889 LIEU (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Environnement Urbanisme). Her current research focuses on Marseille's wastelands. A young researcher associated with UMR CNRS 8504 (Laboratoire Géographie-cités), her thesis focused on the impact of post-socialist urban transformations on urban agriculture in Bucharest.
