The Czech-Polish documentary film traces the story of the conflict around the Turów mine and power plant from the Czech and Polish perspectives and seeks answers to the dilemmas associated with the coal phase-out and the so-called just transition. The documentary was produced as a joint work of a Czech-Polish team and seeks to overcome narrow national perspectives on a typically cross-border issue without forgetting the differences in contexts.

The documentary was produced by Polish portal Nasze Argumenty and Czech !Argument webzine, with the support of JournalismFund and as part of a wider investigative reporting on the Turów mine and on the communities living in its shadow. Subsequent chapters of this investigative report have been published by both websites and by Cross-Border Talks.
